Why I'm standing
For me, the small things are the big things. I want lots of arts markets and food vendors, I want good hospitality and easy ways to get around. I want to play sports in our parks and visit the libraries. I want people walking, cycling, bussing, and driving safely around Albert-Eden and through it to get to the city. I do not want to wait until a problem arises to have a reason to fix something.
About me
I've worked as a member of boards, executives, and campaign politics and I've found that I'm a relationship builder, a problem solver, and a level-head when it comes to conflict. I have a masters degree in economic anthropology. I know how to represent, I know how to speak towards values, and I know how to understand other people's points of view to find a good compromise.
My priorities
- Increase community connections by supporting local events and initiatives that get people mingling.
- Support alternate transport options so people have a choice for moving safely around Albert-Eden.
- Create future-proofed business plans because our businesses support our community and visa versa.
