Why I'm standing
I am standing because I see the added value community led approaches to service is reflected in the attitude of our community and I want to protect and nurture that for years to come. Empowering our local stakeholders has been essential to making Kaipātiki what it is today and I see it as my mission to continue being in their corner. Prioritising them over council led services.
About me
I will make a good elected representative because of my balanced approach to decision making. I am a combination of fairness, empathy, pragmatism, and decisiveness. I have lived and worked in Kaipātiki for almost fifteen years and I know it well. From the best sushi shop on the Shore to the most stunning view of the city. I am a through and through local who reps Northcote colours on Saturdays, and drives Onewa on weekdays.
My priorities
- Deliver stage three of the Beachhaven Coastal Connections.
- Find a permanent new home for Kaipātiki Youth Development Trust.
- Support the reconstituted Kaipātiki Youth Board to the point they are capable of delivering projects.
