Establish filters, including plantings and fenced-off setbacks, to improve the health of the rivers and waterways.
Support community groups to establish wetlands and regeneration with a shared ownership and benefit approach.
Minimise waste within all programmes of work, improve recycling and the reuse or repurposing of materials.
Employ a resilience team to protect biodiversity, pest control and natural areas replanting in cooperation with farmers and Iwi.
Comply fully with the water authority to protect all with safe drinking water and avoid harmful sprays in water races and streams.
