Why I'm standing

To have influence in the making of key policies to protect the environment, rangitira, housing, transport, education, elderly, health, growth, art and culture, and policies that will allow communities to be resilient, healthy, active and caring towards each other where people feel valued.

About me

I strive to be a good listener. The art of listening once understood allows one to take concerns to the table of governance to have influence in decision making. Resilience and determination without being stubborn or closed is what being in my own business and raising three young adults has taught me. These are assets I can share to enable your thoughts and values to get to the council table and be heard.

My priorities
  1. Ensure infrastructure upgrade work protects our Great Lakes as current degradation is unsustainable.
  2. Integrate alternative power sources into the grid and encourage smaller community-generated options.
  3. Build public transport systems between communities to reduce cars on the road and open up green spaces.
