Why I'm standing
My passion for the environment and healthy communities led me to become a councillor back in 2022. I have a vision for the Bay of Plenty as protected and restored ecosystems, clean waterways, thriving communities, sustainable development, excellent transport systems, honouring Te Tiriti and a low carbon future. I am seeking re-election to continue to strive for positive outcomes for our communities and for nature.
About me
My background besides governance and local government is in management, leadership coaching and facilitation. I have lived in Tauranga for nineteen years. I will advocate for cost effective decision making and for collaborative partnerships in our rapidly growing region.
My priorities
- Make the right strategic decisions with a changing local government future.
- Further future proof the region with climate resilience, adaptation and nature based solutions.
- Achieve improved environmental and freshwater outcomes despite resource management uncertainty.
