Have the council and subsidiaries expenditure reviewed to identify where savings can be made.
Focus on doing the basics such as water, sewage, waste, infrastructure and roading well before approving any discretionary funding.
Continue to provide open and transparent communication and information sharing in all aspects of council operation.
