Why I'm standing
I'm running because I believe everyone deserves to feel represented and have a local board that is accessible and responsive. I've seen the challenges we face in Waitematā and want to ensure our communities are connected, inclusive, and thriving, where every resident feels heard, supported, and empowered to contribute. Alongside the City Vision team, I will work to make this vision a reality for everyone in our community.
About me
I bring governance and community experience from leading youth organisations and serving on the Social Change Collective board. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Politics, International Relations, and Communications, and my work at Auckland City Mission gives me insight into homelessness and the power of community-led solutions. With lived experience as a worker and recent graduate, I understand the everyday challenges people face in Waitematā, bringing empathy and fresh perspectives to effective local board decision-making.
My priorities
- Advocate for more affordable, safe and suitable homes for all.
- Create vibrant, welcoming streets, parks and events where all residents can connect and thrive.
- Improve transport in Waitematā with safe, affordable walking, cycling and public transport for all.
