Why I'm standing
I want to continue to serve the city with the energy and vision you deserve. It is about finding balance – our job is to protect and enhance our city assets, from wildlife to heritage buildings. There are challenges we are facing. We are in tough economic times, we have to wrangle legislative changes, the repeal of Three Waters and next is RMA reform. I will front up to challenges and deliver good outcomes.
About me
I am passionate about a beautiful Ōtepoti Dunedin for all, a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible city where all residents feel valued and listened to. I am honoured to serve the people of the city as a councillor. I will make good decisions for everyone's future through transparency, listening, advocacy and grounded leadership. Communication and engagement are my strengths, I have 20 years governance experience in community leadership roles. I am your voice on council.
My priorities
- Implement climate action plan strengthened by targeted actions to support low lying communities.
- Campaign central government on increased housing investment to support our homeless population here.
- Support actions in the live music plan to safeguard venues, artists and the music scene in future.
